About
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an
effective and holistic form of health care that has evolved over the
past 3500 years to treat pain and internal disease. Hair thin
needles are used to balance the flow of life energy (Qi) within the
body and stimulate ones self-healing mechanisms. Quality of health
is determined by the quality and quantity of Qi flowing through the
body. When Qi is in balance, optimum health is experienced. Herbal
Formulas are often prescribed to further nourish and support the
body. All formulas are custom-prescribed and blended from our full
Chinese Dispensary.
Acupuncture is recognized by the National Institute of Health and
World Health Organization to be effective in the treatment of a wide
variety of medical problems including: Pain, Menopause, Hot Flashes,
PMS, Fertility, Allergies, Digestive Problems, Addictions,
Depression and Insomnia.
